    Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSeeking a Senior Financial Analyst who will be an integral part of the Microarray finance team within Genetic Sciences Division The position will have an ownership role in reporting, analysis, forecasting, monthly close and development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).

    Additionally, this role will work closely with the Microarray business partners on new product financial modeling along with deal modeling for new business opportunities.


    Responsibilities:
    Accurate and timely completion of month end close processes Weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasting and expense tracking Work closely with product management and operations to accurately model demand forecasts for manufacturing Perform customer profitability analysis to drive strategic decision making Lead and/or participate in cross functional teams to help resolve business challenges and enable strategic decision making Partner with selling teams and sales ops to drive actionable insights from salesforce funnel and highlight key financial metrics to ensure revenue commitments are met Contribute to the annual planning process (AOP)

    Perform Ad-Hoc analysis and other job-related duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:

    Dedication to, and interest in working with business partners to identify and resolve business issues beyond simply reporting financials Reporting and analysis experience including summarizing key themes, drivers and forecasting.

    Proven ability to prioritize and self-direct workload, influence others and manage time independently. Participation in cross-functional teams including identifying and driving process improvement.

    Self-motivated with high bias for action, accountability and critical thinking Willingness to deep dive where needed to assure work product excellence Modeling skills including maintaining / enhancing existing models, as well as building new models Commitment to continuous learning, demonstrates a desire to develop self and othersEducation: Bachelors degree in finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Accounting or other relevant degreeKnowledge, skills, and abilities: Strong written communication ability paired with clear and concise verbal presentation skills.

    Excellent skills with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint are required; experience with Data Warehouses, SAP, PLN, Hyperion (ESSBase, planning) and Nvision Minimum 4+ years work experienceCompensation and BenefitsThe salary range estimated for this position based in Carlsbad, CA is $93,800.00$140,675.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
