    Lerch Bates is seeking a motivated and confident multi-tasker to join our team as a Proposal and Marketing Coordinator The Proposal and Marketing Coordinator provides integral support to the Business Development team by coordinating proposal development for new and existing clients.

    The Proposal and Marketing Coordinator partners with the Business Development team, ensuring adherence to the specifications received in a request for proposal package (RFP) and the accurate delivery of the scope of services, company pricing, and standards.

    What You'll Do:

    The duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed in this position.

    Review scope and fee requirements provided by the Business Development team to generate proposalsReview RFP and analyze client requirements to inform proposalsEstimate the level of effort required to perform consulting or field-testing functions for proposals Create and develop marketing material as part of the qualification package for the proposalAccurately translate scope of services and pricing from BD Team into proposal with an average 3-day turnaroundCommunicate with multiple office locations to prioritize and schedule proposal completion Write, proofread, and edit proposals using Microsoft Suite programsDeliver professionally developed proposals and/or qualification packages that have been pre-aligned in advance with prospective or existing clients, meeting company standards Communicate with the Business Development team regarding the status of the proposalSupport the implementation of the company's brand strategy, especially in the digital spaceProvide graphic design services across various tools ranging from InDesign to Microsoft OfficeContinually seek and research new sources of prospective customer data, and provide recommendations to the Business Development team.

    Achieve key performance indicators (KPI's) for weekly/monthly metric-driven tracking to identify lagging indicators and re-align for the achievement of goals aligned to proposal submissions and salesParticipate in weekly Plan of Attack (POA) meeting, monthly 1:1 meeting, and other collaborative meetings as needed to facilitate the attainment of business metrics and provide status updatesUse Salesforce customer relations software to track and log proposal completionAssist Business Development staff with Salesforce entries for client outreach and proposal generationWhat You'll Bring:Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, English, or other related discipline.

    0-5 years experience Previous experience in proposal development, marketing, communications, or related fieldProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

    An ability to maintain and operate with a high level of professionalism and flexibility.

    An ability to adapt to a changing, fast-paced office environment while working with internal and external clients/coworkers and executivesExceptional grammar, business writing, and presentation preparation skillsProfessional verbal and written communication skills with all levels of the organizationExperience exercising discretion and confidentiality with sensitive company informationExcellent planning and organizational skills with an ability to think proactively and prioritize workStrong critical thinking skills and attention to detail Self-motivation to find innovative ideas and recommendations for increased productivity and efficiencyPublisher or other graphic marketing software experience (preferred)Why work with Lerch Bates?
