Job Description
The Auditor will audit orders on the dock to ensure the correct product and quantity is being shipped to the customer.
Job Requirements
Job Duties
Perform daily audits of warehouse, product handling and stacking to minimize damage and promote safe handling of product.
Recommend improvements and report issues.
Review incoming import container loads of new and existing products to observe and report loading and damage concerns from overseas vendors.
Monitor and suggest warehouse movements of product to increase efficiency and reduce internal warehouse damages.Instruct and monitor the correct loading and unloading procedures for both manual and equipment product handling.
Must prepare the damage reports required on the return process (pictures and damage report)
Perform location quantity audits to support your Inventory Control Specialist/Coordinator
Accurately record not only the physical count but also the physical state of inventory locations
Report back collected data to the Coordinator/Specialist
Perform 2nd count audits against other teams within Inventory Control
Responsible for supporting their fellow teammates
Education
Required:
High School degree
Preferred:
Associate s degree in a related field.
Work Experience
2 years of relevant experience in Warehouse Auditing
Knowledge/ Skills
Proficient in inventory management software, such as SAP or similar programs
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
The work schedule is 8: 00 am to 4: 30 pm Monday thru Friday.
There is also a change for weekly attendance bonus.
