The Boeing Company is looking for an E-7 Senior Chief Software Architect to join our team in Tukwila, WA
The E-7 Software Architect will lead development of the next generation architecture for the E-7 portfolio of programs and customers
As such, the responsibilities of this position include an understanding of the OMS standard, the Government Reference Architecture, the Boeing BMC2 OMS Service Catalog (BOS-C) and the vision to drive this solution into the future customer base as the baseline product line offering for the E-7 portfolio
This position includes regular interactions with the customer base including USAF, Australia, UK, Turkey, Korea, and others that will want to join the family
The position also includes regular briefings to both program and functional executive leadership
It also includes the responsibility to work across the Airborne, Ground & International software teams to maximize synergies and drive common solutions that will improve Boeing's competitiveness for future opportunities
In addition, this position includes responsibility to chair an architecture community of practice that will involve the software architects from each of the E-7 programs as well as other programs outside of the E-7 portfolio to enhance cross program and division collaboration, sharing and reuse
Occasional travel may be required but would be less than 50%
