    Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco overlooks Yerba Buena Gardens and is located just steps away from the City's Financial District, Union Square shopping, the Moscone Convention Center, the Museum of Modern Art, and the Contemporary Jewish Museum, amid the city's finest cultural and dining venues.

    We are currently recruiting for a Bell Attendant. This is a union, non-management position.

    The Role - OverviewThe Bell Attendant is an integral part of the Guest Services Team whose main objective is to ensure our guests are well looked after from the start. As the first and last impression of the Hotel, this high profile department carries a special responsibility. The Bell Attendant is stationed at the bell stand inside the hotel and greets each guest by name upon arrival and departure. The Bell Attendant transports luggage to the guest room for arrivals and transports luggage for departing guests to the hotel entrance or into temporary storage. The Bell Attendant also provides arriving guests with a hotel orientation.

    Essential FunctionsThis list is not all-inclusive and should only be used as an overview of all actual responsibility.
    • Greets all guests passing through lobby and offers them assistance
    • Delivers luggage to room upon check-in and picks up luggage from room upon departure, moving the luggage to storage or the Front Drive. Maintains proper records of deliveries and pick-up
    • Assists customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.
    • May performs errands for guests and the hotel that may require local travel off of the hotel property
    • Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible
    • Complies with Four Seasons Work Rules and Standards of Conduct
    • Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
    Qualifications & Experience
    • Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language, excellent communication skills are essential
    • Must have excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will also have a warm welcoming smile, a positive attitude and be knowledgeable about the local area
    • Must have minimum of 1+ year bell/guest services experience in a hotel environment
    • Must be able to prioritize and multi-task, and have a high attention to detail
    • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, overnight, weekends & holidays
    • Physical by nature, this position requires standing for 8 hours per shift and requires candidates to have the ability to lift and push 50 - 100 lbs, respectively
    • High school education or equivalent experience is required
