Description
Aerotek is currently hiring for anyone open to first or second shift. 2nd shift warehouse associate at our client's distribution center located in Hammond, LA.Our 2nd shift has a set schedule of Monday-Thursday 2:00PM-1:00AM and includes some overtime opportunities on Fridays, or some weekends.
Description:
*Associates in a Warehouse Support role may perform activities related to scheduling inbound and/or outbound activities in the Distribution Center;
+ Ensuring inventory accuracy within the processing areas using scanners, ERP and SAP systems, and general loading/unloading documents.+ General truck loading per vendor compliance on outbound shipments.+ Performing required administrative and general office/clerical duties in support of a particular functional area within the DC.+ Other pre-loading activities; pallet stacking, wrapping, or securely tying down product.+ Equipment operating as directed to complete the necessary tasks.
Individuals in these positions must work cooperatively with other associates, vendors, carriers, and productively with little/some supervision, be detail-oriented, and have proven time management skills.
Attendance and timeliness is monitored so reliable transportation is a must.The starting pay rate is scheduled as $16 per hour and employees will be reevaluated only 6 months after starting.
