Job summary
The Warehouse Supervisor is expected to oversee all aspects of shipping and receiving at the warehouse ensuring that production is supplied on time and that shipping and receiving is on track.The qualified individual should possess warehousing experience and should be able to ensure that all tasks are performed in a safe manner Strong attention to detail and good supervisory skills are key for this role.
This includes overseeing team members approving their timecards maintaining equipment facilities monitoring counting inventory performing administrative tasks as required ensuring the warehouse remains clean and safe performing other duties as assigned education high school diploma or equivalent required preferred associate or bachelors degree logistics business supply chain management related field osha-approved forklift certification also preferred two years experience working both shipping receiving warehouse environment must 18 years older valid current drivers license required ability use warehouse equipment knowledge functions good math skills sit prolonged periods computer stand move about warehouse prolonged periods good supervisory skills train mentor staff knowledge applicable safety procedures proficiency variety computer software including microsoft excel powerpoint print reports strong communication flexibility adapt priorities change diplomacy perform physical activities lifting items up lbs unassisted bending standing climbing walking visual hearing acuity work within freezer cooler office needed
