- Handle book of established Commercial General Liability, Auto, and Workers Compensation and business in the Midwest Region.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers in order to successfully produce, manage and grow our business.
- Work with local, regional, and home office management to renew accounts annually
- Executing on marketing strategy including Client & Broker relations - sales calls and in-person meetings
- Ability to successfully negotiate on all levels with both internal and external partners and nurture key producer relations.
- 5 – 10+ plus years of Excess Casualty Underwriting experience
- 2 – 5+ years of Underwriting with the Financial Institutions sector, highly preferred
- Proven track record of building strong Broker Relations
- Strong communication, analytical skills, and business acumen
- Bachelor's Degree is strongly desired.
- $135,000 to $170,000+ annual base salary plus 10 – 25% Target Bonus

Our client, a leading Insurance Carrier, is seeking to add and Excess Casualty Executive Underwriter to their Chicago, IL department. This person would be responsible for production, underwriting, marketing, and maintenance of new/renewal excess casualty accounts. This includes building and maintaining internal and external relationships and implementing effective and profitable pricing strategies for Loss Sensitive Accounts. This person would also be able to work remotely
