    What You'll Do

    We are looking for a Technical Leader/Senior software engineer to assist in the design and development of Data plane & Service Chaining for Cloud Native Networking solutions. Develop industry leading performance modular software data plane (L2 - L7) using packet process engine. You'll work with engineering team to develop new features for packet processing of multiple protocols and help the integration in various virtualized, containerized, and bare metal environments. You will be responsible for coding, unit testing and maintaining features. In addition to code development, you will craft & implement private cloud, public cloud and multicloud related solutions.

    The Cloud & Network Security (CNS) is part of Security Business Group (SBG) and its mission is to help people connect securely with confidence on any device, to any application, anywhere, anytime. The Cloud Networking & Data Plane team, which is part of this business unit, focuses on delivering fast user space virtualized networking solutions to SBG as well as other Business Units.

    You'll be part of an encouraging and expert team who is responsible and passionate about delivery and producing results. You'll be able to carve your own path while working closely aligned with project and team goals.


    Who You Are

    You are a software engineer who is very capable of taking requirements to completion. You are required to have deep understanding of L2-L7 packet processing and data plane protocols. Proficient with Kubernetes, AWS as well as virtualization technologies is desired. Most importantly, you're able to learn new technologies or concepts quickly and work well with other team members.


    Minimum Qualifications:

    Bachelor's Degree with at least 8+ years delivering packet processing, high performance networking and cloud software written in C/C++, Python and GO.

    3+ years of experience with Linux-based operating systems, virtual machines, cloud-based services, and networking protocols.

    Ability to work with general on-call requirement

    Preferred skills:

    Master's degree preferred.

    Experience with Containerization and Kubernetes knowledge is desired.

    CPU hardware architecture (Arm64, x86_64) is desired.
