    Description

    Job Overview

    The role involves designing manual tests to ensure the front-end build meets desired standards and is release-ready. This includes testing on various devices and browsers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and identifying defects.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Create manual tests for front-end builds to confirm compatibility and quality.
    • Conduct thorough testing on Macs, PCs, mobile devices, and other digital platforms to identify potential issues.
    • Lead a team of junior QA testers, assigning tasks, reviewing results, and planning daily workflows.
    • Work closely with designers, developers, and producers to test application experiences and ensure seamless implementation.
    • Collaborate with backend developers to test features and optimize performance.
    • Identify and document defects, with a focus on finding every issue.
    • Test compatibility across multiple browsers, devices, and delivery systems.
    • Participate in design and code reviews as needed.
    • Communicate best practices and identify areas for improvement.
    • Occasionally conduct load and stress testing to evaluate scalability.

    Requirements

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Familiarity with JavaScript and web technologies.
    • Experience in front-end manual website testing.
    • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.
    • Awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues and client-side performance considerations.
    • Design and UX sensibilities.
    • Natural curiosity and enthusiasm for new technology and creative expression.
    • Prior experience with testing on mobile devices or mobile OS and browser knowledge is a plus.
    • Must reside in Los Angeles and work from our studio.
