    Role Description

    This is a full-time hybrid (could be remote) role for a Lead Software Engineer at myMechanic. As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing our 5 engineers, development and implementation of our software solutions, including back-end web development, software development, and programming. You will collaborate with our team of engineers, provide technical guidance, and actively contribute to the design and development process. While the role is primarily located in Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson, South Carolina Area, we offer flexibility for some remote work.

    Qualifications

    • Strong background in Computer Science
    • Experience in Back-End Web Development
    • Skilled in Software Development
    • Proficient in Programming
    • Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers
    • Nodejs.
    • React on the web and react native for the mobile app
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills
    • Attention to detail and quality in software development
    • Experience in the logistics industry is a plus
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus
