    Position Description

    Position available for E-J's LIC Headquarters reporting directly to the Director of Risk Management. The ideal candidate possesses natural organizational talents and a strong professional foundation. Seeking someone who is enjoys taking initiative and can work intuitively to manage all levels of tasks, duties and projects as assigned.

    Duties & Responsibilities
    • Drive Return to Work Program
    • Manage injury/accident occurrences
    • Follow-up calls to injured employees
    • Expedite setting up medical appointments and follow-ups as needed
    • File/Report Workers Compensation Claims
    • Complete all necessary NYS Workers Compensation Forms
    • Obtain monthly updates on all open claims
    • Maintain open claims tracking sheet
    • E-File all WC Claims documentation
    • Follow-ups with the NYS Workers Compensation Board, as needed
    • Follow-ups with Claims Handlers monthly
    • Process Claims Payments
    Qualifications
    • 5+ years Administrative experience
    • 3+ years insurance experience a plus, but not required
    • Highly motivated team player
    • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
    • Natural organizational talents and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to handle matters proactively and come up with solutions effectively and efficiently
    • Proficient in MS Office Suite

    Annual salary range:

    $45,000 - $70,000
