Position Summary:
Improve product qualityGenerate Corrective Action Requests (CARs) for both purchased components and parts made in-house.
Assist with problem solving and creation of effective 8DsRespond to customer CARsCommunicate directly with the customer to understand issues and explain resulting actionsLead problem solving events, create 8D, and verify effectivenessQuickly address day to day plant quality concerns to keep production lines running and making good partsDocument product nonconformancesOversee Kilian's Quality Management System (QMS) and maintain IATF 16949 accreditationPossess an in depth knowledge of Kilian's entire QMSVerify conformance to IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and AS9100Monitor effectivenessLead continuous improvement eventsLead 3rd party surveillance and certification auditsManage corrective actions resulting from findingsLead Kilian's internal audit programPerform supplier audits
