    JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT

    • Embark on an exciting opportunity as a Junior Accountant within our dynamic and fast-paced team. We are seeking a dedicated individual to play a pivotal role in ensuring the precise recording of transactions to the general ledger. Join us and embrace various responsibilities, from executing payroll processes to active participation in month-end close processes.

    OVERVIEW OF THE JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT ROLE:

    • Execute biweekly payroll processes with meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and timeliness as a Junior Accountant.
    • Manage 403(b) contributions and loan payments, demonstrating proficiency in handling complex financial transactions.
    • Perform monthly reconciliation of benefits-related balance sheet accounts to maintain financial integrity and compliance as a Junior Accountant.
    • Generate provider productivity reports weekly and monthly for management, providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making.
    • Scrutinize and reconcile daily cash receipts from all sites and Billing, ensuring accuracy and completeness as a Junior Accountant.
    • Draft and input journal entries into the accounting system as a Junior Accountant with precision and adherence to accounting standards.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT ROLE:

    • Demonstrate a solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), applying them effectively in day-to-day tasks and financial reporting as a Junior Accountant.
    • Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, utilizing advanced functions to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
    • Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, showcasing a solid foundation in financial principles and practices.
    • At least two years of experience in accounting, with a proven track record of success and continuous professional development (preferred).
