WELDING TECHNICIAN
Concurrent Technologies Corporation
Assists professional technical staff and leads Jr. technicians in welding tasks and research.

Performs highly skilled GTA (Gas Tungsten Arc) aluminum welding, assists in component design and development, performs weld testing (VT and PT) and aids in manufacturing process improvements to enhance CTC's operating efficiency and effectiveness of the staff and to achieve contractual requirements.

Ability analyzing technical drawings packages & welding specifications to include AWS D1.Technicians in the above and develop their welding skills.

Perform highly skilled GTA aluminum welding (AC and DC electrode negative) on a variety alloys, joints and thicknesses.
Ability to complete written welding inspections and record results.

The ability generating comprehensive nonconformance reports allowing the Material Review Board to understand the non-conformances without the need for further clarification.

Perform all duties while maintaining compliance with all regulatory, quality system and safety requirements and the ability to communicate in a professional manner.

Intermediate reading and writing skills.

Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts.

Considerable directly related technical work experience.
Skill in using a variety of hand standard tools and welding shop equipment.
