Position Description:
Responsible for organizing, staffing, and monitoring banquet functions. Supervise, train, and evaluate banquet and service staff. Coordinate and oversee physical set-up requirements. Requisition and maintain control over inventories of china, glassware, silverware, equipment, and uniforms.
Job Functions
Work with the Banquet and/or Catering Directors to manage, organize, and monitor banquet events.
Coordinate and oversee physical setup requirements and execution.
Requisition and maintain control over inventories of china, glassware, silverware, equipment, and uniforms.
Interact and coordinate details with other departments.
Responsible for personnel-related matters including but not limited to interviewing, hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, evaluating, promoting, counseling, and discharging.
Position Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Three (3) years of experience in the same or similar position preferred.
Must be able to stand and walk for duration of shift.
Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
