    SUMMARY OF DUTIES

    Under the supervision of the Chief Administrative Officer and Properties and Planning Manager, the Project Leader/Project Manager will be responsible for the physical, fiscal, and administrative management of projects for the properties of CFS Real Property, Inc. (CFSRP) and Child and Family Service (CFS). The Project Leader/Project Manager manages projects and drives project planning/execution for CFSRP and CFS which includes encompassing design and bid solicitation for special projects, renovation planning, annual operating budget planning, capital improvement planning, grant identification and development, CDBG proposal submission, project management and reporting, conducts regular financial analysis, participates in the organization's safety and risk management programs and assists with the Facilities Department as needed. Coordinates with Properties and Planning Manager or designee on multi-year capital improvement plans, active projects, lease negotiations and property maintenance for both CFS and CFSRP, to ensure alignment of resources with plan.

    EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

    • Four-Year College Degree from a school accredited by a recognized accrediting agency - general major. Requires basic knowledge or training in a specialized or technical field or trade, such as social work, professional accounting, finance, business administration, and marketing.

    EXPERIENCE

    • Over four years, up to and including six years.

    SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

    • Work schedule is Mon-Fri 8am>4:30pm.
    • Travel to neighbor islands is necessary.
    • MS Office skills are required.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.

    OTHER POSITION REQUIREMENTS

    • This job requires a valid Hawaii driver's license and a clear driver's abstract and continued employment may be contingent on maintaining a clear driver's abstract.
    • This position is subject to a criminal background investigation and continued employment is contingent on a record clear of convictions.
    • Requires inside and outside contacts involving difficult negotiations, related to a major division or function, development of networks and development of teamwork. Requires well-developed sense of timing and strategy.
