Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel X-Ray Technologist with at least 18 months of experience for a Radiology position at a large 900-bed hospital in Morristown, NJ.

Responsibilities

Hospital-based radiology department within a large 900-bed acute care facility
OR imaging experience is required, as this role involves performing X-ray procedures in the operating room
Uses GE imaging equipment and Epic for charting
3x13-hour shifts per week, totaling 37.5 hours per week
Day shift with on-call every other weekend from 2:00 PM–10:00 PM
Travelers may be required to float to a nearby sister hospital
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines
Maintain imaging equipment and ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper procedural protocols throughout each exam
Monitor for procedure revisions and coordinate daily imaging workflow
Two professional references are required for consideration

Requirements

Minimum of 18 months of experience as an X-Ray Technologist
Graduate of an accredited radiography program
Active NJ State RT license required if applicable
Current ARRT certification and BLS
Experience with GE imaging equipment
Proficiency with Epic EMR
Must be able to work independently in a high-volume environment
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
