Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of recent experience and ARRT(R)(CT) certification to provide patient-centered care in a high-volume hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital with 182 licensed beds and Trauma Level IV designation
• Serve a diverse patient population across ED, inpatient, and outpatient areas
• High-volume department averaging 325 patients per day across all modalities
• Utilize Siemens and GE equipment
• Uses the EPIC EMR system
• 12-hour day shifts on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM
• Weekend rotation required
• Travelers are scheduled to work 75% of holidays
• Black scrubs required
• Free parking available
• Department focuses on team accountability for patient-centered care
• Performs CT exams and procedures for patients with a wide variety of diagnoses
• Works with support from nursing and transport staff
• Department offers a 3-5 day orientation depending on modality, plus required online courses
• Holiday work assignments are expected as part of department policy
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Personal skills checklist and disclosure of any board action or criminal history may be required

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a CT Technologist required
• Current BLS and ARRT(R)(CT) certifications required
• Active license required if applicable
• Experience with EPIC EMR is preferred
• Must provide photo ID during compliance process
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full DOB required for consideration
• At least one professional reference from a current or recent supervisor, manager, director, or charge RN dated within the past year
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility for eligibility
• Returning employees must have at least a 1-year separation from any previous permanent position at an affiliated facility
