    We are hiring a Senior PSM who will be responsible for driving the strategic growth and tactical execution of Glanbia's Premix business through product management across the nutritional and animal supplement categories.

    The Senior PSM will lead and liaise with cross-functional teams internally and externally to effectively manage and deliver on initiatives and strategies and will serve as a key link between technology partners, customers, and all relevant Glanbia functions.

    This role can reside in Chicago, IL, Carlsbad, CA or other GN locations.


    Responsibilities:

    Responsible for the innovation strategy and pipeline of Glanbia's Premix offering in the nutritional and animal supplement categories - from overall strategy to execution of specific new product development (NPD) projects.

    Responsible for developing business cases and clear financial return expectations for various business initiatives to achieve the nutritional and animal supplement category strategies.

    Collaborate with the Glanbia Insights team and other sources to build deep market knowledge of the business from a customer, consumer, and competitive standpoint in order to fully define the new target markets and opportunities.

    Collaborate with the Sr. Manager, Portfolio Development and other departments to facilitate delivery of innovation, customer collaboration, and operational improvement projects.

    Maintains relationships with key customers and participates in joint customer calls with sales as the product expert, with a focus on building demand for innovation related products with our customers.

    Be a member and leader of cross functional teams where necessary. Act as liaison for internal customers (sales, finance, customer service, and purchasing, marketing, operations) for day-to-day product related strategies. Provides sales trainings where needed. Vet new global market opportunities (technologies, expansions, partnerships, etc.) identified by the core team and provide recommendations. Develop go-to-market strategies for the portfolio and work with Marketing to execute globally.

    Maintain value based pricing for portfolio by understanding key market insights and competitive set, in addition to working closely to with Glanbia Finance in understanding true costs/margins.

    Direct key inventory decisions for stock levels and work closely with logistics team to maintain at a global level.
    QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree required in a scientific background (Food Science, Nutrition Science); Preferred Masters or MBA. Possess excellent interpersonal communication and relationship building skills, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams.

    5-10 years related experience within the food and/or ingredients space Periodic domestic & international travel (estimated at 20-40%)Our protein systems have transformed the bar and beverage categories - bringing increased levels of protein, cleaner labels and greater product functionality to market.

    The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range.
