- Safety conscious and familiar with standard safety rules and policies
- Good communication and team working skills
- Coachable and trainable
- Must be able to meet and/or exceed production goals
- MIG welding of Mild Steel & Aluminum (Certifications a plus)
- Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings
- Ability to arrange and fit prepared components into fabricated products
- Knowledge of grinding and sanding of welded areas to various degrees of finishing
- Other duties as assigned. May operate equipment such as band saw, tube bender, or other shop equipment.
- Experience with other shop equipment would be a plus.
- Forklift Operator (a plus)
- Must pass welding test prior to employment
- Must provide own tools (welding helmet, tape measure, framing square, welding pliers)
- Safety toe boots required. Other required PPE is provided by Chancey Metals, LLC

Job DescriptionChancey Metals, LLC is a longstanding local metal fabrication shop in need of Production Fitter/Mig Welders for our 1st Shift to join our team.
