Mayberry Rug is a small family owned business seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team You will be responsible for helping customers by providing product/service information and sales support for our team. We are looking for a motivated self starter with a go-getter mentality to generate sales and fulfill existing orders in a timely manner. Must have exceptional organizational and communication skills, and have the ability to multi task while managing their time effectively.

Responsibilities:

Answer incoming calls and monitor email
- Facilitate (order entry) all orders and requests from incoming customer and sales rep calls in a timely manner. Updating each appropriately.
- Transfer calls to appropriate party, if needed.
- Involve any other employee to facilitate the order or request, as needed.
Ensure the smooth flow of orders through the fulfillment process.
- Communicating with sales, warehouse personnel, shipping and customers as needed to process the order, such as, but not limited to:
  - Back orders, specific ship dates, freight charges, packaging requirements, etc
- Regularly checking open orders for unnecessary delays
Make proactive phone calls/emails to:
- Existing Accounts - generate new orders or upselling existing orders
- Potential Accounts
  - Follow up with potential new customers
  - Target new customers through social media resources , internet searches, etc
Make a minimum of forty (40) customer contacts per day
Provide information about the products and services
Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns
Document and update customer records based on interactions
Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services

Qualifications:

Previous experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields
Computer profficient - Microsoft Office
Ability to build rapport with clients
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Positive and professional demeanor
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
