    Brown & Joseph is seeking an IT Support Specialist as we continue to grow our team This position will ensure proper computer operations so that end users can accomplish business tasks.

    This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end user help requests and escalating incidents when appropriate to maintain SLA expectations.

    Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic and Pulseway ticketing system for tracking requests, and may also require that the individual give in-person, hands-on help at the desktop level.


    Job Responsibilities:
    Identify and procure the hardware and software needed to satisfy user requirements.
    Monitor ticket tracking system and respond to incoming requests for help via all supported methods, during all assigned time periods, in accordance with company policies and departmental procedures
    Install hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers and disk drives on users' premises.
    Load appropriate software packages such as operating systems, networking components and office applications.
    Assist in the customization and adaptation of existing programs to meet users' requirements.
    Provide telephone, in-person, and online support to end-users.
    Provide updates, status, and completion information to manager and/or users, via voice mail, e-mail or in-person communication.
    New user setup including AD accounts, M365, Workstation builds, printer support, access issues.
    Troubleshooting issues pertaining to hardware, access, software, or network problems
    Assist in all vendor relationship management tasks
    Maintenance of Azure systems and perform routine maintenance such as patching
    Ensure that internet security software is updated and running properly on all endpoints
    Primarily responsible for our asset management program

    Job Requirements:
    2-5 years of experience as an IT support specialist
    In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks
    Strong understanding of Microsoft operating systems
    Strong understanding of Active Directory
    Understanding of Office 365
    Understanding of Telephony systems
    Ability to determine IT needs and train end-users
    Proficiency in IT helpdesk software
    Experience in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics
    Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
    Current CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+ certification (Preferred)
    Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field (Preferred)

    Compensation and Benefits:
    Salary is $55,000 - $60,000 per year (DOE)
