- Responsible for training and development of team, scheduling, performance management, and effective leadership of hourly workforce
- Successfully lead the Company's safety initiatives
- Working knowledge and understanding of MSHA regulations and possess a strong personal commitment to safety
- Implement environmental processes and regulations
- Successfully lead and manage to established production, safety, and environmental objectives and metrics
- Participate in yearly planning of quarry production, maintenance and salary costs to meet budget goals
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mining, Civil), Business, or equivalent experience preferred
- 2+ years' experience in aggregate operations with understanding of mineral processing equipment such as crushers, screens, conveyors, and associated mobile equipment preferred
- Minimum 1-year supervisory experience in a mining environment preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proficient on PC to include MS Office suite; Aggflow or other similar a plus
- Experience with pit design/exploration, drilling, blasting, inventory control, inventory measures and customer service preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedule as required; including nights and weekends
