    Job Title: Construction Project Engineer

    Location: Austin, TX

    Company: A leading local interiors General Contractor serving nationwide clients, specializing in healthcare, industrial, education, and retail sectors.

    Qualifications:We are seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Construction Project Engineer. The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

    • Construction Experience: Prior experience in the construction industry is essential.
    • Education: A degree in a construction-related field is preferred but not mandatory.
    • Blueprint Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications is crucial.
    • Meeting Management: Proficiency in scheduling and conducting meetings to ensure effective communication within the team.
    • Flexibility: Must be adaptable and flexible in a dynamic work environment.
    • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
    • Legal Authorization: Must be legally allowed to work in the US.
    • Self-Starter: A proactive approach and ability to work independently.
    • Drive and Hunger: Highly driven, with a hunger to learn and excel in the construction field.
    • Field and Office Presence: Comfortable working both in the office and in the field.

    Compensation:

    • Competitive base salary of $60,000 - $70,000.
    • Gas card for project-related travel.
    • Company phone or stipend.

    Project Locations:This role will involve projects in Downtown Austin, East Austin, Westlake, and Georgetown.

    Responsibilities:As a Construction Project Engineer, you will be involved in various aspects of project management, both in the office and in the field. Key responsibilities include:

    • Reading and interpreting plans and specifications.
    • Scheduling and conducting meetings to ensure effective communication.
    • Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
    • Serving as a self-starter and go-getter in project execution.
    • Learning and growing within the construction industry.
