**Local Class A CDL Driver**

**Operations - Atlanta, GA - Full Time**

**Position Overview:**

AIT is seeking a Local Class A CDL Driver to join the team and take on the responsibility to safely and accurately deliver and pickup cargo, keep accurate driving log and inspect for and maintain the company trucks.

***Home daily - Monday thru Friday 10am-7pm // $20-$25 per hour***

**What You Will Be Doing Day-to-Day:**

Safely operate commercial motor vehicle

Ensure time, date, inspection, verification, and signature on all freight paperwork

Responsible for cargo security

Interacting with customers and other transportation companies, representing AIT's image with high standards

Report all damage and security incidents to immediate Supervisor

Inspect and maintain company truck for safety compliance

Maintain a valid CDL-A license and Medical Certification Card

When not driving, individual will load and unload trucks

Maintain a clean work environment and follow safety policies

Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as business demands deem necessary

**Other Skills We Hope to See:**

High School Graduate or GED, required

Valid CDL-A license and Medical Certification Card, required

Hazmat Certificate

DOT safety regulations & must be able to pass a physical examination

3+ years of commercial driving experience

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Individual must be detail oriented and able to work in fast pace, high volume environment

Basic computer knowledge, preferred

Candidate must have good oral and written communication skills
