    As the Sr.

    Director, Supply Chain Operations, you will be responsible for daily operations, including the oversight of processes, reporting, improvements, quality, and personnel.

    What you'll do on a typical day:

    Ensure the quality management system procedures and processes are implemented and maintained
    Oversee productivity and safety standards in accordance with company needs and customer

    requirements
    Implement and maintain operational processes and procedures
    Prepare reports on performance and potential improvements for operations
    Hire, train, develop and appraise staff effectively; take corrective action as necessary in a timely

    manner and in accordance with company policies
    Provide direction, development and leadership for the managers and supervisors
    Establish and meet site objectives in the areas of financial performance, safety, quality and customer

    service while maintaining compliance with all applicable internal and external policies
    Provide accurate and timely submission of key quality, financial and safety reports
    Plan and coordinate site activities with departmental managers and supervisors to ensure objectives

    are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner

    What you need to succeed at


    GXO
    :

    At a minimum, you'll need:

    7+ years of leadership experience in Supply Chain and/or Third-party Logistics (3PL) environment
    Availability to travel up to 30% of the time
    Lean, Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement experience
    Experience with Microsoft Office and computerized scanner equipment
    Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which

    may include weekends
    Working knowledge of financial accounting and human resources practices

    It'd be great if you also have :

    Bachelor's or master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or related field
    Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment
    Proven successful employee engagement capabilities with the ability to inspire and

    motivate the workforce
    Success with a diverse, inclusive workforce and leading a culture of belonging that respects every team member

    In this role, you will need the capability to:

    Support automation initiatives and opportunities by collaborating with sites, engineering, IT, etc. for
    GXOto bring additional value to our customers with what we provide internally; and in customer operations including leading the expansion of warehouse and storage Technology
    Interact with internal teams and existing customers to support efficient startup and development of new warehouse operations and technology
    Collaborate with Implementations, operations and engineering teams to support site startup to maximize our offering and ensure detailed effort through launch to smooth operation
    Collaborate with customer Engineering and engage with technical aspects of supporting startup operations including warehouse, material flow, potential metal cutting, equipment
    Support TMS integration
    Support site Continuous Improvement Efforts
    Support Continuous Improvement work throughout the Group
    Collaborate with operations and engineering to support material flow efficiency projects, automation enhancements, conveyance and other cost reduction efforts
    Develop potential organic business growth with existing customers
    Develop business relationship and grow business via warehouse support, tech support, warehouse design support
    Develop data, project plan and installation of new Technology
    Collaborating with
    GXOoperations, IT, Engineering & Boeing Engineering, etc. to coordinating layout, material flow and equipment for new ops, updates, greenfield site, other automation opportunities
    Collaborate with IT on projects; especially related to new equipment integration
    Lead collaboration with contracted Integrators
    Whatever else is needed to increase revenue and profitability of Boeing operations
