    Physical Therapy Supervisor

    Responsible for the administration, interpretation, and evaluation of tests and measurements. Plans and modifies treatment programs.

    Assists Rehab Manager with coordination of PT, OT, and SLP operations, including performing treatments within the professional's respective Practice Act, as prescribed by a referring physician.

    Maintains performance improvement activities and participates in CQI (continuous quality improvement) activities.

    Maintains efficient and effective department operation while requiring compliance with all state, federal and local regulatory laws, standards and protocols.

    Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.


    MINIMUM EDUCATION:
    Bachelor's degree in physical therapy.


    PREFERRED EDUCATION:
    Master's degree in physical therapy


    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
    Prefer 3 years as clinician in a comparable facility. Prefer 2 years supervisory experienced and/or demonstrated proficiency in those skills needed for supervisory functions.

    REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/


    LICENSURE:
    Possession of current Texas State license.

    PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/


    LICENSURE:
    Clinical Instructor Certification as applicable

    REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g.

    , CPR):
    BLS- Obtained thru approved American Heart Association Training Center or the Military Training Network.
