    Veterinary Emergency + Referral Center of Hawaii (VERC) is an advanced 24-hour veterinary emergency and specialty hospital, the first of its kind in the state of Hawaii. Our dedicated board-certified specialists and highly trained emergency professionals provide a truly collaborative approach to veterinary medicine. Supported by our newly built, 17,250 square foot state-of-the-art facility with a USP-800 compliant oncology suite and advanced diagnostic equipment including ultrasound, endoscopy, digital radiography, 128-slice CT scan, the state's first veterinary MRI, fluoroscopy, and in-house laboratory, we offer the most comprehensive and progressive patient care on the Hawaiian Islands. Our exceptional staff includes specialists in critical care, internal medicine, neurology, surgery, oncology, radiology, physical rehabilitation as well as experienced emergency veterinarians and experienced technicians.

    The successful candidate for the position of Oncologist will be board-certified or an individual who is residency-trained, motivated, and energetic.

    We are looking for someone who fits in well with our cohesive team, stays up to date with changing medical guidance in their field, and has strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    We emphasize a truly collaborative approach to medicine and our specialists, emergency doctors, technicians, and client care staff work very closely together with our referring veterinarians to provide great care to our patients and their human companions.


    We offer a highly competitive compensation package, signing bonus, relocation allowance, and tailored relocation assistance to the island including a partnership with a local real estate agent to help with home search on the island.
