    About Our Practice:

    At Northeast Ohio Eye Surgeons, for over 40 years, our eye optometrists have provided the highest quality vision in a compassionate, caring environment.

    Our eye specialists of Ohio hold experience in a wide array of areas. This includes cataract procedures and diagnosing and treating conditions like glaucoma, corneal, or retinal disease. We also give general eye exams and are known to provide the best LASIK in Ohio.

    We are seeking an optometrist to join our North Canton and Canton offices and continue providing excellent medical care.

    Comprehensive Eye Care:

    • We offer a wide range of comprehensive eye care services, including routine eye examinations, advanced diagnostic testing, ocular disease management, contact lens fittings, and pre- and post-operative care. Our patients can receive all their eye care needs under one roof, ensuring convenience and continuity of care.

    • Located in North Canton and Canton Ohio

    • Our team comprises highly trained and experienced eye care professionals, including ophthalmologists, optometrists, opticians, and technicians. We work collaboratively, drawing on each other's expertise to provide personalized and comprehensive patient care.

    Candidate Qualifications:

    Education and Licensure:

    • Completion of a Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry program. Possess a valid and unrestricted optometry license in the state of Ohio for licensure.

    Clinical Competence:

    • Demonstrated proficiency in performing comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosing and managing ocular diseases, fitting and managing contact lenses, and providing pre-and post-operative care. Experience with specialty testing and imaging technologies is preferred.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential to establish rapport with patients and effectively collaborate with the multidisciplinary team. Empathy, professionalism, and a patient-centered approach are also essential.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handle a diverse patient population, and manage multiple tasks efficiently. A proven ability to stay updated with the latest advancements in optometry and pursue continuing education opportunities.

    Compliance and Ethics:

    • Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards for optometry practice. Adhere to professional and ethical guidelines set forth by the state board of optometry.
