    Manufacturing Engineer/CNC Programmer


    Actively seeking a mid to senior level Manufacturing Engineer/ CNC Programmer for a Numa Tool Company, a drilling equipment manufacturer located on the Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island border.

    Reporting to our Engineering Manager, the ideal candidate should possess both a high level of technical expertise and an innate passion to build.

    You will play a critical role in creating and refining processes in order to improve manufacturing safety, quality, and productivity.


    Responsibilities:
    (Including, but not limited to,)

    Oversee manufacturing and industrial engineering including CNC and NC programming, CAD, and CAD-CAM functions.

    Release products to production floor and create bills of material, routings, manufacturing instructions.

    Create and maintain work instructions and manufacturing specifications.

    Identify and recommend methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities.

    Collaborate cross-functionally to facilitate production process and evaluate potential changes.

    Assist with quality control practices and vendor evaluations.

    Qualifications:

    5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering/CNC programming

    Knowledge of CAD, CNC, and NC programming

    Proficient in SolidWorks and CAM

    Blueprint reading and ERP experience

    Leadership aptitude; ability to manage and motivate others

    Ability to listen, analyze a situation and follow a systematic approach to problem resolution

    Able to manage time and multiple tasks/priorities

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to lift or move parts with an approximate weight up to a maximum weight of 50 lbs.

    Work can require bending, stooping, kneeling, and ladder climbing.


    Work Environment:
    The work environment is normally indoor industrial manufacturing/office space with outdoor work occasionally required. Production floor includes large equipment and loud noise can be prevalent. Safety gear is required in production areas.


    Compensation & Benefits:
    This is a full-time shift position.
