    City of Hope Medical Group Seeks Plastic Surgeon to Join our Growing Team

    We invite you to consider an opportunity to join City of Hope, the world-class NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center in Southern California. This non-profit program is one of the top ranked cancer centers in the country, with an international reputation for quality of care.

    City of Hope National Medical Center is seeking a Plastic Surgeon who is highly qualified and board certified or eligible in Plastic Surgery to meet the growing needs of our expanding program.Microsurgical fellowship training or extensive experience as a primary surgeon in microsurgical procedures is required.

    Position Highlights :

    Provide patient-centered care in collaboration with a world class, nationally recognized team of surgical, medical, and radiation cancer specialists.Full-time Plastic Surgeon position reporting to the Chief of Plastic Surgery, within our Department of Surgery.

    ·This is a full-time position in an established and rapidly expanding team of 6 plastic surgeons, NP, PA and Microsurgery Fellow.

    ·Commensurate with the background and qualifications of the candidate, research/educational/ administrative time will be defined and supported.Active mentorship to develop academic interests will be provided by the Division Chief and senior faculty.

    ·The practice includes care of complex reconstructive problems (breast reconstruction, lymphatic reconstruction, head and neck reconstruction, chest wall and extremity reconstruction, skin cancer etc.). Predominance will be to provide reconstructive needs of breast and skin cancer patients.

    ·City of Hope offers a competitive salary and incentive compensation.

    ·Paid relocation.

    ·Outstanding benefits including up to 20% of IRS max toward annual retirement contribution *no match requirement

    ·Salary Range: $360K - $520K. The range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual compensation will be adjusted for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    ·Prior experience should include a commitment to provide state-of-the-art patient focused clinical care, specialized training & ability in microsurgical procedures, dedication to resident education (teaching awards, etc.), accomplishment in research, and a knowledge base pertinent to the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery.

    ·Based on qualifications, the selected candidate will be appointed as Assistant, Associate Professor, or Professor rank at City of Hope National MedicalCenter.

    ·Theselectedcandidateforthepositionmust beeligibletoobtainoralreadyholdanactiveCaliforniamedicallicense.

    ·Board certified/eligible in Plastic Surgery.

    ·Microsurgical fellowship training or extensive experience as a primary surgeon in microsurgical procedures is required.
