RN - Case Mgr - El Paso - Travel Nurse Across America

Description

We're looking for RN Case managers with 1-2 years of recent case management experience in El Paso, TX. As a RN Case Manager, you'll work with a highly skilled team to advocate for patients, evaluate, plan, provide resources and facilitate communication with family members. Key responsibilities include evaluating and assessing patients, creating and updating comprehensive care plans, and documenting medical records. Additional tasks include collaborating with healthcare professionals, communicating with insurance companies, and improving financial status through data analysis.

• Evaluate and assess new patients.


• Create and update comprehensive short and long-term patient care plans.


• Educate families and patients about resources and health care options.


• Collaborate with other RNs, doctors and social workers.


• Properly document and submit medical records.


• Communicate with insurance companies to collaborate or appeal decisions.


• Improve financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends and recommending actions to management.

RN Case Managers must possess good oral and written communication abilities and be able to work efficiently in a collaborative environment. Requirements include BLS certification and 2 years of experience. Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
