    Dietary Aide

    Scenic Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Herculaneum, MO is currently seeking full-time and Part-time Dietary Aides focused on EVENING SHIFT to support residents with their meals.

    ABOUT SCENIC NURSING AND REHABILITATION CENTER

    We deliver top-notch care for the senior community in Herculaneum, MO, focusing on long-term care and rehabilitation needs. Our services include speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and dementia/Alzheimer's care. Our mission is to offer dignified care in a cozy environment, achieved through our compassionate staff working closely with residents, families, and physicians to create customized care plans.

    DIETARY AIDE DUTIES:

    1. Perform job duties safely as outlined

    2. Serve residents in dining rooms, take orders, and deliver meals

    3. Prepare and distribute trays according to dietary requirements

    4. Handle food according to guidelines, including leftovers

    5. Apply proper food safety techniques

    6. Clean and sanitize dishes and utensils correctly

    7. Maintain cleanliness in the dishwashing area

    8. Clean work area and equipment as directed

    9. Stock food storage areas

    10. Deliver food and supplies as needed

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education/Training: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

    Experience: Experience in dietary department, large volume food preparation and service preferred
