    Job DescriptionFull job descriptionWe are a mental health and substance abuse partial hospitalization treatment center and intensive outpatient focused on adults. At Milton Health, we provide the highest standard of care while offering a compassionate and supportive environment where clinicians can truly make a difference in the lives of people and their families. We are seeking highly motivated registered mental health counselor interns or Licensed clinicians to join our dynamic team. Clinicians work with a team of behavioral health and medical professionals in developing a continuing care plan for the patient that focuses on recovery, wellness and self-sufficiency.

    Position Overview:

    As a Primary Therapist at Milton Health, you will play a crucial role in the treatment team, providing individual and group therapy to clients enrolled in our PHP and IOP Program. The Therapist will provide substance abuse/mental health counseling sessions for individuals and groups, as well as provide counseling and clinical interventions to individuals who have experienced trauma, are dual diagnosed, present with a co-occurring disorder, and/or present with a significant health issue.

    Responsibilities:
    • Provide individual and family therapy to an assigned caseload of clients.
    • Conduct group therapy, biopsychosocial assessments screenings, and assist in the admissions process.
    • Formulate individualized treatment plans using a variety of evidence-based treatment approaches.
    • Participate in daily clinical meetings.
    • Document all patient-related care in the patient electronic record in a timely manner.
    • The Therapist will work collaboratively with internal and external case managers and other support service providers in the development of an aftercare plan that will facilitate recovery, wellness and overall self-sufficiency.
    • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, staff, families, agencies, and referents.
    • Ensure treatment documentation meets agency and professional standards per AHCA, DCF and Joint Commission.
    • Maintain professional ethics, including appropriate boundaries and confidentiality.

    Qualifications:
    • Licensed Clinician (LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT) or Registered Intern in the state of Florida.
    • +1 year of experience working with individuals with a mental health and substance abuse diagnosis.
    • Bilingual Preferred
    • Experience in group facilitation and working with a multidisciplinary team.
    • Well-versed in a variety of evidence-based modalities (e.g. DBT, CBT, MI).
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication, strong organizational skills, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficiency with EMRs, LOCUS, ASAM, AHCA, DCF, and Joint Commission.
    • Level 2 Background Check and Drug Test required.

    Position Details:
    Schedule: Full-time, Part-time and Per diem (Group facilitators) positions available
