Veterinary Urgent Care of the Desert is a *privately owned*, AAHA accredited urgent care and surgery facility. We are a team of enthusiastic veterinary professionals with a vision to bring veterinary specialty services to our community. We understand and respect the importance of the primary care veterinarian-client-patient-relationship.

Our goal is to help maintain that bond by acting as a resource when more than primary care is needed.

We foster this bond by providing timely updates to the primary veterinarian after each visit.

_*About you:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent with an active license to practice in the state of California

* *Board certification or residency training in Veterinary Cardiology

• Consistently displays a professional demeanor, excellent communication skills and accountability
• High emotional intelligence, empathy and maturity
• Committed to providing the highest quality medicine
• Performs well in a team-oriented work environment
• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations
• Excellent problem solving skills and a positive attitude
