Position: Bilingual Field Service Engineer

Location: Austin, TX (onsite/hybrid)

Salary: $60-90k

Interview Process: 2 rounds via Teams

Must-haves:

Bilingual or extremely proficient in Japanese

1+ years of previous experience in a Lead or Supervisor role

6+ years previous experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment

Excellent customer interface skills and ability to work strongly on a team

Mechanical aptitude is required as well as an ability to use appropriate tools

Plusses:

Military background is a plus

Vacuum and pump experience in a plus

Electrical Engineering experience is a plus

Day-to-Day:

Performs on-site service and repair of semiconductor processing equipment, Troubleshoots equipment problems, and Maintains records and reports as required. This FSE will coordinate activities with peers and lead a team of FSE on site. Will also work with customers to minimize equipment downtime and interruptions and order and installs parts. They will responds to emergency service calls as required, and instruct customer operating technicians on system operation and maintenance. They will perform upgrades and modifications to equipment as needed, and remain current on equipment/tools through appropriate training, manuals, factory periodicals, and other relevant materials.
