    MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN III

    THE COMPANY:

    SUMMARY OF ROLE:

    Manufacturing Technician III provides daily support of processes, materials, and equipment in order to achieve production goals. The technician works with engineering to develop and improve manufacturing processes and works to implement changes. The technician will be responsible for qualifying, maintaining and troubleshooting equipment. Additionally, the technician may assist production team with manufacturing, as needed.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Supports production to meet production goals
    • Creates, updates, and maintains manufacturing & equipment documentation
    • Performs equipment preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
    • Supports Quality with equipment calibration as needed
    • Assists with process development and validation activities
    • Helps transfer new products into manufacturing * Interfaces with vendors, as needed
    • Understand the job specific quality system procedures and processes as defined in theTraining Matrix and adhere to the requirements listed in those documents. If any of the procedure or process requirements are unclear or ambiguous, it is the responsibility of
      the employee to notify his/her supervisor or Quality Assurance
    • Maintain corporate confidentiality at all times.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Associate degree in a technical field preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience in medical device industry preferred.
    • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to work across the organization.
    • Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities against aggressive deadlines while maintaining a high degree of quality.
    • Must have excellent problem solving skills, ability to diagnose issues, find and test solutions.
    • Soldering skills; familiarity with electronics and electrical components a plus.
    • Experience with electromechanical devices and/or capital equipment a plus.
    • Experience with SolidWorks a plus.

    The salary for this exempt-level position will be based on experience and qualifications within an established pay range.

    • Pay range: $58,000 - $65,000
