    Our dynamic and successful Urban Mobility and Infrastructure Group is seeking a full-time Municipal Design Civil Engineer to join our team of professionals, focusing on infrastructure design in urban markets. This position would be based in our Minneapolis or Saint Paul office.As a Municipal Design Civil Engineer, you would be responsible for the design and/or management of municipal infrastructure for urban design, transit and municipal infrastructure projects. Duties include leading tasks for the development of construction plans and documents; evaluating design alternatives; and preparing reports, studies, and construction contract documents; as well as client development and staff management.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist the design team in producing quality products for our clients.
    • Engage in a positive work environment with an open mind to learning new skills and software associated with typical project requirements.
    • Be an active participant on a collaborative design team with other groups/disciplines within SRF.
    • Exhibit quality day-to-day work in line with SRF's quality management plan.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
    • Engineering Licensure or desire to pursue professional engineering licensure.
    • We are seeking 3 or more years of related civil engineering experience.
    • Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or in Bentley 3D design tools.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Microsoft office suite experience.
    • Interest or passion for involvement in the development of local and nationwide innovative active transportation projects.
    • Seeking someone who is a self-starter, collaborative, dedicated, enthusiastic, flexible, innovative, organized, eager to learn, and possesses strong communication skills.
