Leidos will support network modernization efforts to provide Sailors, Marines and the civilian workforce the tools they need to be more efficient at increasing naval capabilities and further empowering the Navy Marine Corps team to compete and win

Your Main Objective:

• Evaluate communication hardware and software, as well as troubleshoot Local Area Networks/Base Area Networks/Wide Area Networks (LAN/BAN/WAN), and other network related problems
• Administer LAN/BAN/WANs

Schedule conversions and cutovers

• Coordinate with all responsible users and sites
• Ability to define and maintain network architecture and infrastructure
• Ability to configure and optimize network servers, hubs, routers, and switches
• Ability to pull switch activity logs, as well as switch capacity reports
• Make recommendations to clean up or upgrade communication closets, for streamlining switch and patch panel matrixes, and can make the recommended changes on the switch and unpatch ports on unused equipment
• Perform port activation, deactivation, and logical moves on switches, in support of emergent MAC moves
• Ability to engage and escalate problems to the Network Operations and/or Command Center for support for incidents/problems exceeding their capabilities or networking privileges
• Ability to install, test, maintain, and upgrade network operating systems software; and/or ensure the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of network services

What Sets You Apart - Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field of study

• 10 Years of Experience
• Active Secret Clearance
• Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II
• Must possess an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) network support certification such as a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

Pay Range:
Pay Range $87, $157,450.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary
