    About the Role

    This is a full-time LPN position with direct care responsibilities and supervisor responsibility for caregivers. The Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN will supervise nursing personnel to deliver high-quality care and coordinate care delivery within scope of practice.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supervise nursing personnel to ensure resident needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice
    • Coordinate care delivery through physician orders, facility policies and procedures, and federal, state and local guidelines

    Requirements

    • Valid and current LPN/LVN state license
    • 2-3 years clinical experience; Gerontological nursing including dementia population preferred
    • Ability to read thermometers, charts and testing equipment
    • Must be able to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner

    Physical Demands

    • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend and squat for prolonged periods
    • Ability to push and pull objects and lift and carry up to 20 pounds, unassisted on a frequent basis
