    The Accounting Leader is pivotal in guiding Rialtic's accounting operations toward excellence, ensuring timely and precise financial reporting, managing accounts payable/receivable, and developing scalable processes as the company evolves. This position is the accounting authority at Rialtic, overseeing compliance, internal controls, audit readiness, and collaborating with finance leadership to influence financial strategy and decision-making.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Financial Management
      • Oversee Rialtic's month-end and year-end closing procedures, promoting accuracy and continuous improvement in efficiency.
      • Establish and uphold accounting policies, procedures, and controls that align with a rapidly growing SaaS environment.
      • Manage revenue recognition and contract accounting policies under ASC 606.
      • Supervise the accounting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and banking functions.
      • Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
    • Reporting & Analysis
      • Lead the preparation of GAAP-compliant financial statements for board and investor reporting.
      • Collaborate with FP&A for variance and trend analysis to enhance decision-making.
      • Create and present ad hoc financial reports, variance analyses, and forecasts for management review.
      • Partner with finance leadership to construct budgets and track performance against them.
      • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to boost financial performance and operational efficiency.
    • Team Leadership
      • Guide, mentor, and develop the accounting team.
      • Delegate tasks, evaluate performance, and cultivate a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
      • Ensure thorough training and adherence to internal policies and accounting standards.
    • Compliance & Audit
      • Lead the annual audit process and tax filings, including preparation of audit schedules and liaising with external auditors.
      • Ensure ongoing compliance with tax, regulatory, and state nexus requirements.
      • Implement and maintain accounting systems and processes that support the organization's growth.
    • Systems & Process Improvement
      • Collaborate with Engineering and Operations teams to automate accounting workflows and enhance ERP systems.
      • Advance accounting system scalability in anticipation of company growth.
      • Assess and improve accounting workflows for better efficiency and scalability.
      • Work with cross-functional teams to facilitate system upgrades or automation projects.

    Qualifications

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA required.
    • Experience: 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with a minimum of 3+ years in a leadership or controller role.
    • Experience in a SaaS or healthcare services setting is strongly preferred.

    Skills:

    • In-depth knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
    • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage Intacct) and Microsoft Excel.
    • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
    • Adept at managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
    • Detail-oriented with a commitment to integrity in financial stewardship.
