We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Cost Accountant to join our thriving finance team.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to our company's financial health by analyzing and managing cost accounting data, and ensuring we meet our financial goals.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting complex cost analyses, implementing cost standards, and preparing budget reports. This role requires a commitment to strategic financial planning and a strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).Coordinate with internal departments to ensure inventory accuracy and completeness.
Conduct regular physical inventories and monitor the cycle count program.
Implement cost accounting systems and oversee the cost-related aspects of financial reporting.
Assist in the preparation of the annual budget, forecasts, and strategic planning.
Review and analyze margin reports, conducting research and performing analytical studies in regards to cost analyses and profitability.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
A minimum of 5 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
Exceptional knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, cost reporting, and cost analysis.
Proficient in accounting software and with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly strong in Excel.
