    Role Overview

    The Sous Chef is a critical member of the culinary team, working closely with the Executive Chef to maintain exceptional quality and standards in daily kitchen operations.

    This position oversees the management and development of Line Cooks, Prep Cooks, and hourly team members, ensuring consistent feedback and career growth through performance objectives.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Culture and Hospitality: Deliver Enlightened Hospitality to guests and team members, promoting a positive work environment.
    • Service Execution: Direct the team to ensure timely service, food quality, and consistency throughout each day's service periods.
    • Culinary Excellence: Educate dining room staff on menu items, culinary procedures, and promote a culture of excellence in food preparation.
    • Kitchen Operations: Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy kitchen environment, adhering to high standards and health code regulations.
    • Team Development: Ensure all team members are trained, empowered, and have opportunities for growth and advancement.

    Requirements

    • At least 2 years of experience in culinary leadership and fine dining.
    • Certification in a Hospitality-related field (preferred) or equivalent.
    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across teams.
    • Excellent food and beverage knowledge.
    • English fluency and additional languages are a plus.
