We are looking for a candidate to assist in development of an automated testing platform that test the firmware of our customer present networking equipment. This equipment includes Cable Modems, Routers, Wireless Access Points, and Ethernet Bridges. The framework has already been set up. They are looking to convert all of this to automation. They are looking for a python developer, not a python tester.
As one of a small number of SDET in the Embedded Software Engineering team, you will be asked to support and give feedback in the design and architecture of our testing platforms and the greater CICD pipeline. You may also be asked to participate in feature architecture discussion so that you can plan test for features prior to delivery.
