    Job Description

    American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery night shift position in Texas requiring a compact RN license and specialized certifications.

    Responsibilities
    Position is in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital setting
    Night shift, working 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
    May be required to float to other floors or campuses as needed
    Mandatory facility drug screen upon arrival, including testing for Marijuana and CBD products
    Clinicians must complete non-billable modules during orientation, averaging 6-8 hours
    Must be flexible with floating and work assignments as needed
    References from two supervisors within the last three years of employment are required
    Required documentation must be submitted by the specified deadline for consideration

    Requirements
    Active TX or compact RN license in hand
    Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications are required
    Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
    Completion of required labs within 72 hours of offer acceptance or have a plan in place
    Preferred experience with Altera charting system, but not required
    Must live at least 150 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
    Prior perm staff must be gone at least 1 year to return as a traveler
    Travel experience preferred
