    As a Lead Controls Engineer, you will be crucial to ALC's business through the designing of advancedbuilding automation systems created specifically for each individual customer.

    We are looking forsomeone who works well in a team and has excellent problem-solving, time management, and multi-tasking skills. You will work on solving complex problems and lead smaller projects with less experiencedengineers to help develop their skills.
    Design and program increasingly advanced building automation systems, site-specificconfiguration of control system, and control algorithms
    Adhere to project requirements and company and customer standards of design, programming,andimplementation
    Create a clear design document for project teams with technical information
    Document and communicate the building automation system design and revisions
    Develop graphical and text-based interfaces for building automation systems
    Test programming and interfaces prior to implementation
    Identify and communicate project opportunities and risks
    Support of functional testing for complex building systems

    Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of engineering or construction experience Or Associate Degree with 6+ years ofengineering or construction experience Or High School Diploma or GED with 8+ years of engineering or construction.

    Advanced degree in an Engineering or Construction discipline.
    Experience in HVAC controls, Building Automation, or related industry
    Proficient with primary functions of building automation system software and associatedengineering tools, Automated Logic suites preferred
    Strong working knowledge of complex Automated Logic software, hardware, peripherals, add-ons, and services
    Proficient with third-party communication protocols used in building automation, such asBACnet, Modbus, SNMP, LON, N2, etc.
    Understanding with Enterprise IP networks and Microsoft Visio, or similar software
    Proficient with written sequences of operations, diagrammatic depictions of systems

    Capable of climbing ladders or using other lift equipment over 8 feet above grade, and capableof lifting items up to 50lbs.
