Job summary
We are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to manage retail commercial construction projects across the U.S. This position is responsible for overseeing all on-site activities,coordinating subcontractors, enforcing safety and ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and to company standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day field operations on retail construction projects
- Manage subcontractors inspections deliveries maintain project schedules drive deadlines enforce OSHA safety standards and company policies ensure quality control adherence plans specifications coordinate closely with Project Managers corporate teams track daily progress jobsite photos reporting address field issues quickly keep projects moving Qualifications Strong understanding fast-paced retail schedules turnovers willingness travel extensively nationwide ability read interpret plans specs schedules CPR First Aid certification preferred leadership communication problem-solving skills comfortable smartphones email basic construction software
