RN Program Coordinator
Position Summary
Responsible for ensuring evidence based care is delivered to all patients.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates the daily operations of the specialized clinical program with a strong focus on quality assurance and improvement
- Responsible for working in collaboration with the healthcare team to coordinate the care and service to patients across the continuum of care
- Collaborates the plan of care utilizing standardized care protocols in accordance with nationally recognized evidence based care guidelines
- Responsible for managing the program including but not limited to community education, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, therapy, and regaining functional status
- Assists patients in understanding their diagnosis, treatment options and the resources available
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
- May lead and direct the work of others
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function
- Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned
Requirements and Minimum Qualifications
- BSN required
- State of Idaho Registered Nurse or licensure pending as documented by temporary licensure OR current RN licensure from a state participating in the "multistate privilege to practice" compact with Idaho required
- Previous experience in program development
- Clinical knowledge base and data management skills
- Knowledge of regulatory standards, evidence-based guidelines
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Working Conditions
- Must be able to maintain a sitting and/or standing position
- Typical equipment used in an office job
- Repetitive movements
