EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Implement a variety of recreational opportunities for youthAssist with the supervision of program and participantsMaintain a safe environment for youthCoordinate set up, take down, and use of facility, equipment, and materialsAbility to relate to parents, program partners and public in a professional and courteous mannerFollows work directionPerform other duties as assigned Administer basic first aid as neededWork independently and as part of a great team*Employees are responsible for their own transportation to program site(s)
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
You may be a great fit if you have: One year of experience working with youth in a program environment this may include things like babysitting, volunteering, youth sports coach, etc.Two years cumulative work or volunteer experience Knowledge, skills and interest in recreation programs and program developmentCollege level coursework in, but limited to recreation, education, social services, or related fieldExperience with 1:1 communication, leadership, and customer serviceCertification in CPR and First AidConcussion Training - training is available on-line at Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
